Torpedo boat of Groznyi class — is a series of torpedo boats (3 units: "Grozny", "Gromkiy" and "Gromyashchiy") built at Nevskiy Shipbuilding and Mechanical Plant under the program "For Needs of Far East" represented further development of Buinyi class.
During Tsushima battle on the 14th day of May "Grozny" was at the left non-firing portside of Russian battleships. It took part in people rescue from the auxiliary cruiser "Ural", having taken 10 persons to the board. This torpedo boat was one of three ships of the Second Pacific Squadron which reached Vladivostok after the fight.
