The lighthouse on Raspberry Island is located in the southern part of the island, on the shore of Lake Superior (Wisconsin, USA). Raspberry Island Light was built in 1862 and first ignited in July 1863. The original structure is topped by a square tower.
It was automated in 1947. It works to this day, giving a white light signal every 2.5 seconds. It has a historical, architectural and cultural significance.
