Baltyk paddle steamer was one of the biggest ships navigating the Vistula River in the 1930’s. During the post-war period she cruised as a passenger river steamer up to 1973.
It is a Polish sail training ship. A prototype of a class of six, the following five slightly-differing units were built subsequently by the same shipyard for the merchant fleet of the former Soviet Union.
